Tuberculosis, or TB, is a contagious infection caused by a type of bacteria known as Mycobacterium tuberculosis. TB typically attacks the lungs but it may spread to other areas of the body such as the spine and brain. This infection can spread when someone who has it does something — such as coughing or sneezing — that releases its germs.
If you suspect that you have tuberculosis or need TB screening for work purposes, you can get screened at We Care Rx.
